KUZNETSOVA WINS THE FRENCH OPEN TITLE

Dinara Safina lost to her opponent Svetlana Kuznetsova in the French open finals. Safina was strong throughout the tournament but always lost in her finals. Safina was so upset with her performance that why she throw her bat down when she lost critical points. Kuznetsova knew that safina is under pressure to win this title. Kuznetsova played her normal tennis with less number of unforced errors. Safina was too ambitious to win this title. We can see the pressure on safina's face but Kuznetsova can be seen relaxed. It was a very confortable win for Kuznetsova over Safina 6-4, 6-2. It was Kuznetsova's second grand slam after winning the 2004 US open. Safina made too much of blunders by putting double faults during the match point for Kuznetsova.

"Today I think she was too tight," Kuznetsova said of her opponent. "She had so much pressure on her but I could bring my better game today - that's why I won."

The 23-year-old has now lost in the French Open final for two years running, and was also heavily beaten by Serena Williams in January's Australian Open final.

"Here I am back in the same situation as last year," said Safina. "Hopefully one day I can win here."
