SAFINA WINS HER TITLE IN ITALIAN OPEN

Safina clinched her first title after she attained the No.1 spot. Safina was so happy with her performance as she made the finals quite easily. Safina said " Kuznetsova made lot of unforced errors which made me easy to qualify". Safina defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-2 in the Italian open finals.  Safina said " Kuznetsova is not an easy opponent and that too in clay court". Kuznetsova disappointed as she made lot of unforced errors.  Kuznetsova was not to her best and she is not an easy opponent. Safina finished her set in just 43 minutes.  Safina is all set for French open, which is about to start on May24.  Marat Safin is giving lot of tips as safina reflects those in her match against her opponent. 

SAFINA CLINCHES THE NO.1 SPOT

Safina has been announced as the No.1 ranking on WTA tour on Monday. She was the second women from Russia after Maria Sharapova to acquire the No.1 spot. Safina is the sister of Marat Safin, who also ranked No.1 in 2000. She shares her happy moment with her brother and she feels very excited as well. She said"its a previlege to be No.1 in world tennis". She has not yet won a grand slam title yet and she wants to win it. Safina becomes the 19th woment to top the ranking since they were introduced in 1975. Safina feels that her brother is better than him.

RAFEAL NADAL IN MONTE CARLO MASTERS

Rafeal Nadal, the No.1 seed won his first match in Monte carlo Masters against Juan Ignacio Chela 6-2 6-3 in the second round of the Monte Carlo MASTERS. Rafeal has already won four title in Monte Carlo Masters and he is expecting for his fifth title. Whenever Nadal won his Monte carlo MASTERS, he will win the French open too. He like to play in Clay court and he is also very strong in Clay court. Nadal have to meet Nicolas Lapentti in his third round, who has won 2 times Grand slam champion Marat Safin 7-6 (6) 2-6 7-6(6). Nadal has previously won 17 matches in a row on clay and he lost only to Juan Carlos Ferrero in the Second round of the Rome Masters 2008. Nadal expressed that" he has little bit of tough times and good times" he also said that" he has tough times to overcome".
