Dinara Safina was previously the second seed after Serena Williams. This is because the top seed Serena williams conceded her crown with a 6-4 3-6 6-1 defeat against world number 95 Klara Zakopalova on Wednesday. Dinara Safina was the sister of Marat Safin who was also the world No.1 on 2000. When he becomes No.1 he shares with safina. Now she will be sharing her joy with safin. She is just 22 year old and she has a big future.
Safina was the second women tennis player to reach the Top after Maria Sharapova, who reached in very early age.
