TENNIS RULES

Tennis rules is so simple and easy to understand. This sport is famous because of it.
The rules are
1. Tennis court is rectangular and 78 feet long and 27 feet wide.
2. Net is tied at the centre with two ends tied to a metal. The net should not exceed 0.8 cms.
3.The ends of the cord are attached to the top of two posts, the diameter of which should not exceed 15 cm. Also, the posts should not be more than 2.5 cm above the top of the net cord.
4. Centres of the post are 3 feet outside court and height of net is 3 feet 6 inches.
5. tennis court has sidelines plus a baseline at the end. A line that is 21ft from the net and parallel to the net decides the service area.
6. Ball when landing on the line is also considered as IN.
7. If any won four points in a row then he is considered as winning the game
8. There are normally 6 games in a set.
9. If both of the player won 3 points simultaneously then it is called as deuce.
10. Then player should have to get 2 more points to win the game.
11. A set can taken by a player only when he wins the game with the difference of 2 games starting from 6-4, 7-5..etc.
12. n case the score line is 6-6, then a tiebreak is held to decide the result of the set.
13. The court for doubles tennis is wider as compared to singles
14. There are 4+1 officials for viewing the In or OUT
15. Main official is sitting on the chair high above the net.
16.an electronic machine has aided the line judge
17. A net-cord judge establishes whether a serve has clipped the net and must be called a let
18. For major disagreements, the match referee can be brought into play. Referee otherwise watches the game from the stands.
